Weekly Focus: Time, Oh, Time…Where Art Thou?


I remember Mr. Weiland, a very extraordinary man from my hometown, saying this to a group of high school students nearly 13 years ago and I still hear those words loud and clear today.  Why?  Because they’re powerful and true.  How many times have we put things off while promising to come back to them later when we’ve got “more time?”  How many New Year’s resolutions have we made only to forward them to next year’s list (By the way, my New Year’s resolution for the past five years has been to stop making them.).

Folks, when you think about it, everyday is a new year.  January 1st does not have to be your “Start date.” Why not start today?  Whatever your dreams, goals, or wishes may be, why not work towards them starting this very moment.  If you want to lose 20 pounds this year, get up right now, throw out the bad junk (well, most of it), and get your booty moving.  Don’t just sit there, do something.

If there were only more hours in the day we would get more done right?  Yeah, right!  This week’s Focus is about making the most of the time we have because, People, time is only one of many things that we can’t purchase  from Amazon or place a bid for on ebay.  Lets make the best of this week, time is wasting, Folks!
